On May 10, Mother’s Day, Diego García “Twanguero” presents “Sendero,” his new single: an instrumental piece dedicated to his mother, Isabel Gallardo, who passed away in 2025.
“Sendero” — the path — is also the one who guides us: she was his sendera, his pathfinder. A melancholic melody of trilling guitars with an Italian-western air, which Diego played for her in Spain in her final days.
“For my mother Isa, and for all the mothers who guide us through the many paths of life.”
“Sendero” is now available on all platforms.
